Odia style Potala Aloo Kasa

- 1 Frying Spoon
- 1 Knifes
Ingredients
- 8-10 nos. Potala
- 2 nos. Aloo medium size
- 12-15 nos. Cashew Nuts
- 1 nos. Tej Patta
- ¼ tbsp Jeera
- ½ tbsp Haldi Powder,
- ½ tbsp Red Chilli Powder
- 2 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
- 1 nos. Tomato Chopped medium size
- 2 nos. Onion Chopped
- 2 nos. Cardamom
- 1 nos. Cinnamon
- 4 tbsp Refined Oil/Mustard Oil
- some coriander leaves
- Salt as required
Instructions
- Cut the Potala and also cut the Aloo in square size and wash it properly
- Heat some oil in kadai
- Fry the Potala and Aloo until brown or soft
- Add pinch of salt on it
- After soft the Potala and Aloo keep aside
- In the same kadai heat some oil, add the tej patta, jeera, Cardamom,Cinnamon, Chopped onion and Chopped tomatoes
- Saute for 5 minutes, then add the ginger garlic paste, haldi powder, red chilli powder, salt as required
- Saute until the raw smell goes away
- Add some water and cashew nuts ,wait for a boil
- Lastly add the fried Aloo and Potala ,wait and boil for 4-5 minutes
- Get a thick consistency turn off the gas, stir in the coriander leaves and serve
