Ingredients
  

  • 450 gram All purpose flour
  • 15 gram Yeast
  • ¼ tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp warm water
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 150 ml Milk
  • 150 ml Yogurt
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp Poppy or Sesame seeds For garnish

Instructions
 

  • Mix the yeast with the sugar and water and leave in a warm place for 15 minutes.
  • Sift the flour and salt into a bowl, make a well in the centre and pour in the yeast liquid, milk, yogurt and butter or oil.
  • Mix to a smooth dough and knead for 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Place in a bowl, cover and leave to rise in a warm place for 1-1½hours.
  • Knead on a floured surface, then divide in to 6 pieces. Part or roll each piece into an oval.
  • Preheat the oven for 5 minutes at 200-degree temperature.
  • Place on warmed baking trays and bake for 10 minutes.
  • Brush with the melted butter and sprinkle with the poppy or sesame and serve warm.
