Harishankar, known for its name derived from the worship of both Hari (Vishnu) and Shankar (Siva), is a serene destination in Odisha. It is nestled amidst lush forests, majestic hills, and enchanting waterfalls, making it a tranquil haven.
The atmosphere here is super peaceful and full of spirituality. Harishankar temple is on Gandhamardhana Hill, while the other, Nursinghanath temple, is on the opposite side. At the top of the hill, there’s a lovely waterfall that tourists love to see.
At the foot of Gandhamardhana hill, there is a cute deer park that you can visit. It’s a cool spot to check out! The perfect time to go is between December and February.
You should plan a picnic with your friends or family at the base of the hill. It would be so much fun! You can enjoy the nature. Make sure to bring some snacks and drinks for your picnic. It’s a great way to spend time outdoors and relax.
Don’t forget your camera to capture all the fun moments!
