Discovering the heritage of Umar’s Hanuman Temple

Another festival Rath Yatra holds great significance and is widely recognized as one of the most important and famous festivals. In addition to Rath Yatra, other significant celebrations such as Rama Lila, Astha Prahari, Dola Purnima, and Basanta Panchami are also observed with much enthusiasm and joy.

Best Time to Visit: Early mornings and evenings are ideal times to visit for a peaceful experience. Visiting during major festivals can be a unique experience but expect larger crowds.

The closest airport is Bhubaneswar Airport, located 66 km away. Regular bus services are available from Cuttack to Nischintakoili, and from there, you can hire an auto to Umar which is 6 km away. Cuttack is 40 km away from Umar. The nearest railway stations are Cuttack, which is 40 km away, and Bhubaneswar, which is 60 km away.
