Chicken Tikka
The dish known as chicken tikka can be rephrased as grilled chicken marinated in a blend of spices and yogurt before being cooked to perfection.
Ingredients
- 500 gm Chicken Boneless
- 100 gm yogurt
- 1 tbsp Ginger, Garlic Paste
- 1 tbsp Cumin powder
- 1 tbsp Coriander powder
- 1 tbsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp Kashmiri chilli powder
- 1 tbsp Kasthurimethi
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- Salt required
- 1 Onion sliced
- 1 Tomato quartered
- 1 Lemon twists
Instructions
- Mix all the marinade ingredients together in a bowl.
- Add the chicken cubes, stir well and leave in the refrigerator 30 minutes.
- Thread the chicken on to 4 skewers and cook under a hot grill for 6-10 minutes, turning frequently.
- Remove the chicken from the skewers and arrange on individual serving plates.
- Garnish with onion, tomato and lemon to serve.
